State-level Workshop on ‘Emerging Trends in Banking’ on Feb.1

Mysuru: UG Department of Business Administration, Teresian College, Mysuru, has organised one-day State-level Workshop on ‘Emerging Trends in Banking and Stock Market’ on Feb.1 at the College premises, in collaboration with NIIT-IFBI.

The workshop will be inaugurated on Feb.1 at 10 am by Dr. Noor Afza, Professor, DoS in Business Administration Tumkur University. Dr. R. Nalini, Associate Professor, Co-ordinator, PG Department of Business Administration, Maharani’s Women’s Commerce and Management College, Mysuru, will deliver keynote address.

The objective of this workshop is to create knowledge about concepts and terminologies of stock market and provide practical application of the academics.

Following are the resource persons and topics on which they deliver lectures:

C.S. Manjunath, Chairman, ICSI, Mysuru, will speak on ‘Impact of GST on Banking’ at 11.15 am; Prof. B.S. Sharath, Department of MBA, JSSCMS, Mysuru, will speak on ‘Sensitivity in Stock Trading’ at 1.15 pm; K.H. Adarsh, Centre Head, NIIT-IFBI, Mysuru, on ‘Changing Dynamics of Banking Industry’ at  3 pm. Valedictory address will be delivered at 4 pm by Adarsh.
