State Open Rapid Chess Tournament on Aug.11, 12

The Velapuri Chess Association, Belur (Hassan), will be conducting the Karnataka State Open Rapid Chess Tournament at Sudhanava Gowda Vokkaligara Kalyana Mantapa, Belur, Hassan, on Aug.11 and 12.

A total cash prize fund of Rs.80,000 is in the offing for the winners in Open category. Cash prizes will be given to the winners from 1 to 25th in the Open category. Trophies (first 5 places) will be given to the winners in the U-7, U-9, U-11, U-13, U-15 (boys & girls) sections. Three trophies will be given to the best three veteran players.
