Poetess A. Hemaganga has been unanimously appointed as the State President of Sirigannada Vedike. The post had remained vacant following death of M.S. Venkataramaiah, the Founder State President of Vedike. Hemaganga is the daughter of late N. Ashwathanarayana and Lakshmi of Chamarajanagar.
