Street dog menace in Gokulam

The increasing menace of street dogs in most parts of Gokulam has left the residents cursing the MCC for its inaction.

The street dogs, which are found in groups, have scared the residents, especially the aged, women and children. There are many incidents where street dogs have bitten residents, injuring them.

Several representations to the MCC for ending the street dog menace has fallen on deaf ears, according to residents who also said that street dogs, which have developed an instinct to attack human beings, have scared motorists and pedestrians alike.

Meanwhile, Karnataka Rakshana Vedike (Shivaramegowda faction) City President K. Madesh has warned of a protest if the authorities failed to take measures for ending the menace.
