The Backward Classes Welfare Department, Hunsur, has invited application from eligible students for admission to pre-metric girls hostel located at Hunsur town, Geresanahalli, Bilikere, Hirikyathanahalli, Tattekere and also for pre-metric boys hostel located at Hanagudu. The annual income limit is Rs. 45,000 for students belonging to category-1, 2(A), 2(B), 3(A) and 3(B), Rs. One lakh for category-1 and Rs. 2 lakh for SC/ST. Selected students will be provided with free boarding and lodging with all necessary facilities. Interested may contact the respective hostel wardens or the Department’s Extension Officer.
