Mysuru: A 19-year-old student was killed when a car reportedly rammed into his bike near the Premier Studio traffic signal on
Hunsur Road on Monday night.

The deceased student is Sandeep, a native of Kushalnagar, who was pursuing his studies at a private college in city and residing at Vijayanagar in city.

The accident took place at about 1.30 am resulting in Sandeep sustaining fracture on his leg and serious head injuries. He was rushed to a private hospital at Jayalakshmipuram here but he breathed his last yesterday, according to Police.

V.V. Puram Traffic Inspector B.S. Prakash and staff, who rushed to the spot, conducted mahazar and have registered a case.
