Mysuru: With an aim to groom the students for SSLC and PUC examinations through a lateral angle, Indian Senior Chamber (ISC) and RR Group had organised a workshop with a theme ‘Examination is a day of festival — enjoy’ at Jaganmohan Palace recently. The parents were also groomed to support their children keeping the workshop theme in mind.
Addressing the students as the Resource Person, Satish Bhat asked the students to be logical in approach and suggested them to refrain from reading eight hours prior to the commencement of any examination. He gave a Power-Point presentation on time management, enhancing concentration and memory. He advised students to cultivate questioning habit and inquisitiveness.
Continuing, Bhat contended that anger and despair would only lower confidence leading to inferiority complex which would be detrimental in the long run. He asked students not to do two works simultaneously or in quick succession as that would impair performance.
About 300 students from various schools in city, rural areas, Mandya and other places along with their parents attended the workshop.
ISC Mysuru Chapter President Mahesh, National Convenor Nagesh, State Electrical Contractors Association District President Mallesh, Vice-President Shekar, Programme Co-ordinator Srikanth and others were present.
