Students outshine in cultural and sports contests

Mysuru: The following students of Jnanodaya PU College, Saraswathipuram, have excelled in various contests:

Ruthvik C. Raj bagged first prize in film songs and Bhavageethe and second prize in the folk songs category in the Inter-Collegiate District-level Music competitions conducted by Gaana Rotary, Mysuru, recently; Priyanka Gopi bagged first prize in the 3000 meters and 1500 meters running race in the recently conducted 2019-20 District-level Sports Meet organised by the Department of PU Education.

M.N. Abhishek won first prize, consisting of a cash prize of Rs.1000, in the recently held District-level Inter-Collegiate Kannada Debate competition by Akhila Bharatha Sharana Sahitya Parishat, Mysuru City Unit, in association with Haradanahalli Kambi Mallappa and Muddu Madappa Trust.

S. Karthik and M.K. Pranav won first prize consisting of a cash prize of Rs.10,000 and qualifying them to participate at the Divisional-level, while M.B. Udayaravi and T.M. Hruthik won fourth prize in the recently conducted ‘Swachhata Quiz Programme 2019,’ an initiative by Swachh Bharat Mission in association with Zilla Panchayat, Mysuru and District Administration. The unbeatable pair, S. Karthik and M.K. Pranav, went on to bag first prize along with a cash award of Rs.1,000 in the Inter-Collegiate District-level Quiz competition recently conducted by Vijaya Vittala PU College.
