Students showcase ‘Sahasa’ First-of-its-kind adventure sports contest held

Mysuru: Purna Chetana Public School in city had organised an adventure sports competition, ‘Sahasa 2020’ for the students of various schools of Mysuru district recently.

The competition aimed at making children understand the importance of physical health and making them creative through adventure sports. The inter-school adventure sports competition ‘Sahasa’ was conducted at the adventure sports theme park of the school, Fear Factor.

Physical Education Director of University of Mysore T.S. Ravi was the chief guest of the event. Students from various schools participated enthusiastically.

Winners

Purna Chetana Public School won first prize in Low Rope Race, Hari Vidyalaya won second prize and Podar International School won third prize.

In High Rope Race, Purna Chetana Public School won first prize, Hari Vidyalaya won second prize and Mahajana Public School won third prize.

In Slush-Field Tug-of-War, Hari Vidyalaya won first prize, Purna Chetana second prize and Podar International School third prize.

Purna Chetana Public School won Overall Championship.
