Students test culinary skills at Maharani’s

Mysuru: Maharani’s Arts College had organised a ‘Students Fair’ at its premises here yesterday where students of the college displayed their culinary skills churning out vegetarian and non-vegetarian delicacies including beverages and sweets, making a good sale.

Taking a break from routine classes, the girls prepared mouth-watering Pani puri, gobi Manchurian, Churumuri, bhel puri, vada, bonda and many more items.  About 20 stalls were set up at the college premises where the students also sold chocolates, tender coconuts and bakery products. For entertainment a few games were also played along with drawing of mehendi designs.

Inaugurating the fair College Principal Prof. P.H. Prakash commended the students for organising the event every year spreading a festive mood. He opined that such activities would inspire the students to go in for self-employment.
