Subhash Chandra Chabria (91), retired Honorary Flying Officer, passed away at his residence in Bannimantap here this morning.

He leaves behind his daughter Preethi, an NRI, who lives in USA along with her husband.

However, there is no information about the last rites.

His body was kept at his residence for ex-Servicemen and people to pay their last respects.

Subash Chandra Chabria joined the Air Force during 1948 and served for 35 years. Born and bought up in Lahore in Pakistan, he migrated to New Delhi along with his family at the time of partition. He settled in Mysuru after retiring from Air Force in 1983.
