Mysore/Mysuru: Under Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojana (2020-21), for implementation of water collection unit programme, Horticulture Department has invited applications from farmers.
Horticulture Department is providing 50 percent subsidy of up to maximum Rs. 5 lakh for each beneficiary for construction of below ground level 4,000, 6,000 and 8,000 cubic metre (individual or community) water collection units. Beneficiary should compulsorily cultivate horticulture crops in a minimum of 1 hectare of land for 4,000 cubic metre, in 2 hectares for 6,000 cubic metre and in 4 hectares for 8,000 cubic metre, water collection units.
Department is providing 50 percent subsidy of up to maximum Rs. 7.5 lakh for each beneficiary for construction of above ground level (modular steel tank) 1,00,000, 2,00,000 and 5,00,000 litre capacity (individual or community) units.
Beneficiary should compulsorily cultivate horticulture crops in a minimum of 1 hectare of land for 1,00,000 litre, in 2 hectares for 2,00,000 litre and in 4 hectares for 5,00,000 litre water collection units.
