Nanjangud:  Infosys Foundation Chairperson Dr. Sudha Murty visited the famous Srikanteshwara Temple on yesterday and offered puja.

She was welcomed at the temple by Tahsildar Dayanand and Executive Officer of the temple Kumaraswamy. Sudha Murty collected information about the various religious rituals being held at the temple from the priests.

Speaking on the occasion, she said that having come for the inauguration of Dasara, she has been visiting temples in the district and added that she was keen to visit the temple in Nanjangud.

Temple run: A day after inaugurating the 10-day Dasara festivities in Mysuru on Wednesday (Oct.10), Infosys Foundation Chairperson Dr. Sudha Murty visited the famous Sri Rama Temple at Chunchanakatte in K.R. Nagar taluk on Thursday (Oct.11) where the temple priests and authorities provided her information about the history and significance of the temple.
