‘Sudharma’ celebrates Golden Jubilee

Mysuru:  The yearlong Golden Jubilee ceremony of Sanskrit daily ‘Sudharma’ was launched by Pejawar Mutt Seer Sri Vishwesha Theertha Swamiji at Sri Krishnadhama, Saraswathipuram in city yesterday. He also released Rajasri Jagannatha Pandita’s work  ‘Lakshmi Lahari’ on the occasion.

Addressing the gathering, Pejawar Seer said: “Sanskrit is not a dead language. Rather it is very much alive in our hearts and in the form of its abundant literature. Amidst all kinds of adversities, Sudharma Sanskrit daily has survived and is now celebrating Golden Jubilee. Sanskrit lovers should come forward and support this noble endeavour.” Pejawar Seer also informed that Pejawar Mutt will donate Rs.1 lakh to Sudharma.

Sudharma Editor K.V. Sampath Kumar, Dr. H.V. Nagaraja Rao, Dr. T.V. Satyanarayana, Dr. V.D. Hegde, K.S. Jayalakshmi and others were present.

Golden Jubilee Special edition release in Bengaluru on Nov.24

As part of the Golden Jubilee celebrations, the publication is planning to bring out a special edition of Sudharma, which will be released on Nov.24 in Palace Grounds in Bengaluru. They have invited Prime Minister Modi for the event and are awaiting positive reply from Prime Minister’s Office. Also, the publication is planning to organise two programmes every month to promote Sanskrit where Sanskrit scholars will participate and educate the general public.
