Mandya Lok Sabha independent candidate Sumalatha Ambarish continued her poll campaign in a novel way yesterday by blowing the trumpet (her party symbol is Man Blowing Turha, meaning trumpet) and herald that she was ready for the battle of ballots.

She was joined by her supporters, who also blew the trumpets (Kahale) during the commencement of the day’s campaign from her rented house at Chamundeshwarinagar Third Cross in Mandya in the presence of Kannada film producer Rockline Venkatesh and actor Doddanna.
