Sri Chamarajendra Zoological Gardens (Mysuru Zoo) will be organising Summer Camp for students aged 12 to 18 years in two batches — first batch from Apr. 14 to 23 and second from May 5 to14.
Students will get exposure to basics of Captive Wild Animals Management and Wildlife Conservation; learn about basics of Biodiversity, Animal behaviour and Conservation of Wildlife. There will be both theory and practical classes covering various aspects. Zoo Officials and other Subject Matter Specialists will interact with the participants.
Students can collect application for both batches at Zoo Office from Mar. 10 to 15 and submit the filled-in applications along with copies of Aadhaar Card or birth certificate and recent stamp size photo on or before Mar. 17 (10 am to 5 pm). Only 60 students per batch will be selected on first-come-first- serve basis. Daily the camp starts at 10 am and ends at 4 pm.
