Sunil Bose case: Hearing adjourned to Apr. 5

The Third Additional District and Sessions Court, this morning adjourned the hearing of the graft case involving Sunil Bose, son of District In-charge  Minister Dr. H.C. Mahadevappa to Apr. 5.

Bose and his associate were accused by Alphonsus, the then senior Geologist with the Department of Mines and Geology of forcing him to accept a bribe of Rs. One lakh in connection with illegal transportation of sand in 2010. While Alphonsus is the first accused, Bose is second and Raju is the third accused in the case.

Today, when the case proceedings began, Judge S. Sudheendranath  took up the hearing and adjourned the same to Apr. 5 as Alphonsus was not present. The Judge has also summoned the complainant Basavaraju to appear before the Court to record his statement. Both Sunil Bose and Raju were present in Court.
