Sunil Bose case: Hearing adjourned to Mar. 21

The Third Additional District and Sessions Court, this morning adjourned the hearing of the graft case involving Sunil Bose, son of District In-charge Minister Dr. H.C. Mahadevappa, to Mar. 21.

Bose and his associate Raju were accused by Alphonsus, then a senior Geologist with the Mines and Geology Department of forcing him to accept a bribe of Rs. 1 lakh in connection with illegal transportation of sand in 2010. While Alphonsus is the first accused, Bose is second and Raju is the third accused. All the three accused were present in the Court when Judge S. Sudheendranath took up the hearing this morning before adjourning the case to Mar. 21.
