New Delhi: In the midst of Congress’ padayatra from Mekedatu to Bengaluru that has generated heat in the State, the Supreme Court (SC) is set to hear Tamil Nadu’s petition on the project today.

Tamil Nadu had approached the SC against the order of the Principal Bench of National Green Tribunal (NGT) on Mekedatu balancing reservoir. The Principal Bench had vacated the stay given by NGT Bench in Chennai.
