Pandavapura: An 18-year-old youth has succumbed to suspected Dengue fever in Pandavapura.
The youth has been identified as K. Manju, son of Krishnegowda of Beerashettalli in the town and a first year Engineering student at BGS College of Engineering in Bellur, who had recently written the exams and had returned home on Monday.
Manju, who began to suffer from fever on Monday evening, was treated at a hospital in the town, but on Wednesday morning, he developed fever again following which he was admitted to Narayana Hrudayalaya in Mysuru, where he passed away in the evening.
