Mysuru: The case of a woman, suspected to have been murdered somewhere else and the body dumped at a private layout on Bannur Road, has become a challenge to the Police.
The body of the woman, identified as Latha, a resident of Giriyabhovi Palya, was found on Wednesday morning, with her slippers intact on her feet and a veil, which was used to strangle her, found tied around her neck.
The Alanahalli Police, who had conducted mahazar, found no external injuries on her body.
The Cops, who took up investigation immediately, collected footage of CCTV cameras installed on city roads and circles.
On viewing the footage, the Police found Latha, who was wearing a chudidhar and veil, walking alone on K.R. Hospital Road, Irwin Road, B.N. Road and other Roads on Tuesday night. She was later found moving towards Bannur Road.
CCTV footage showed that Latha was alone and no one was with her. Her death has become a mystery and the Police, who are investigating in all angles, are yet to ascertain who might have murdered the woman.
