Suttur Seer Sri Shivarathri Deshikendra Swamiji last evening called on Siddaganga Seer Dr. Sri Shivakumara Swamiji, who is admitted at Dr. Rela Institute and Medical Centre in Chennai for liver bypass. The 111-year-old Swamiji was airlifted to Chennai from Bengaluru on Friday for further surgical intervention after a team of expert surgeons from Chennai visited the Mutt on Thursday. The two-and-a-half hour surgey was performed by Dr. Mohamed Rela and team today (Saturday) and the Seer has been advised 10-week rest.
