As part of Suvarna Bharathi Mahotsava to commemorate the 50th year of Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Bharathi Theertha Swamiji’s Sanyasa Sweekara, Sri Sharada Peetham, Sringeri and Sri Abhinava Shankaralaya, Mysuru, have invited applications from meritorious students belonging to Hindu community for scholarship. Students, who have secured more than 80 percent marks in SSLC and post SSLC exams and whose family income is less than Rs. 3 lakh and studying in Mysuru are eligible to apply for the scholarship.
The prescribed application forms can be obtained from Adarsha Seva Sangha, No. 2, Block 27, Madhuvana Layout (near water tank behind Brahmaramba Convention Hall), Srirampura 2nd Stage, Mysuru-570034. The filled-in application forms, along with the copy of marks card issued in 2024, student’s name along with bank details can be submitted at the office between 3 pm and 6 pm before May 30.
The scholarship distribution programme was launched at Jnanodaya PU College in Saraswathipuram here recently. The event was inaugurated by Abhinava Shankaralaya Dharmadhikari H. Ramachandra. Sri Saptamatruka Chowdeshwari Temple Trust President & Managing Trustee S.K. Bhaskar, Adarsha Seva Sangha President G.R. Nagaraj, who were present, explained about the scholarship programme.
