The Suvarna Sambhrama Rajyotsava celebrations will take place at Government First Grade college, Siddhartha Layout, Mysuru at 10 am tomorrow (Nov. 24). The event will also feature inauguration of various cultural wings of the college. Prior to the stage programme, a procession of Goddess Bhuvaneshwari Devi’s idol will be taken out from Gautama Buddha Circle to Sangolli Rayanna Circle and will be flagged off by K.R. MLA T.S. Srivatsa in the presence of District In-charge Minister Dr. H.C. Mahadevappa. Former University of Mysore Prasaranga Director Prof. C. Naganna will be the Chief Guest, while college Principal Dr. N. Mayadevi will preside over, according to a press release.
