Mysore/Mysuru: Members of Railway Pensioners Welfare Association, Mysuru, will be observing ‘Bharat Pakhwada’ by taking out a Swachh Bharat Jatha on Nov. 24 from the Association premises to the city Railway Station at 10.30 am.
The jatha will create awareness among passengers and public about cleanliness, to keep the station and bogies clean.
Meeting: The monthly meeting of the Association will be held at 9.30 am on the same day at its office premises.
Students felicitated: The grand-children of members of Railway Pensioners Welfare Association, who have passed SSLC and PUC and have secured 80 percent and above marks during the year 2021, were felicitated at SC/ST Auditorium on Seshadri Iyer Road here on Nov. 14 (Children’s Day).
Association General Secretary G.S. Swaminathan addressed the gathering. President Parthasarathy presided. M. Govinda Rao welcomed. Treasurer A. Dyavanna proposed a vote of thanks, according to a press release from the Railway Pensioners Welfare Association.
