Swachh Survekshan team to arrive in city on Feb. 11

Mysuru: A team of Swachh Survekshan officials appointed by the Centre to carry out a survey on cleanliness and  hygiene will arrive in city on Feb. 11 and carry out survey until Feb. 15.

The team of officials from Data Arrangement Services Group of Hyderabad-based Kavya Infrastructure Private Ltd., which has been tasked by the Union Ministry of Urban Development conduct Swachh Survey in the entire country, will visit select MCC wards and talk to about 200 persons in every ward and get feedback from them.

The Kavya Infrastructure Company which is set to a survey in 4,041 cities and towns across the country, has already completed half of its task by conducting the survey in 2,020 cities and towns.

With the survey team set to land in city a week, the MCC Pourakarmikas are working over time in order to keep the street, public joints, commercial centres and residential areas clean and tidy. Also, the authorities are trying their best to ensure that public toilets, sanitation spots, underground drainages etc., are all maintained well.
