Swachha Mysuru – Swastha Jeevana campaign enters 15th week

Mysuru: The 15th week of “Swachha Mysuru – Swastha Jeevana” campaign, which was launched by Sri Ramakrishna Ashrama for 40 weeks to create public awareness about cleanliness and environmental protection, was held in Ittigegudu, K. C. Layout, J. C. Layout, Venkatalingaiah Layout, Tank Bund Road, Manasa Road, Hosa Beedhi, Perithambi Road, Sunnada Koppaiah Road, Basavannana Galli, Kammalageri, Arunachalam Road and Lokaranjan Mahal Road on Sunday last.

Swami Atmajnanandaji Maharaj, Adhyaksha, Sri Ramakrishna Ashrama, Mysuru, Swami Nityasthanadaji, Senior monk of Sri Ramakrishna Ashrama, Mysuru, Swami Shubhkaranadaji from Belur Math,  D. Madegowda, ex-MLC, Vanitha Prasanna, local Corporator and Prasanna launched the cleanliness drive campaign.

Around 220 volunteers, 30 MCC cleaning staff and 50 residents participated in the  drive and brochures were distributed to houses in the locality.
