Swaraamrutha, musical evening in aid of special children tomorrow

Mysuru:  Swara Saagara Music Foundation, in association with Shri Mahalakshmi Sweets and Bhima Properties, has organised Swaramrutha-4, an annual mega event, in support of ‘Karunamayee,’ a training school for special children at Niveditha Nagar in city. The concert will be held on Dec. 28 (tomorrow) from 5 pm at Kalamandira.

The concert will be held as a tribute to Bollywood playback singers Arijit Singh and Shreya Ghoshal.

Reality show stoppers — Manasa Holla, Shubha Raghavendra, Ashwin Prabhu, Zubin Paul, Shreya Bhat, Tanushree and Ankita Amar will perform.

The singers will be accompanied by Deepak and Veeresh on keyboard, Raghunath on percussions, Vinay Rangadhol on rhythm pad, Pradeep Kiggal on base guitar and Kiran on dolak. Special children will also be performing on the occasion.

Industrialist A. Mariyappa and his wife Jayaratna will be the chief guests.

The event will be presided over by movie maker of ‘Neerdose’ and ‘Siddlingu’ fame Vijay Prasad, Mahalakshmi Sweets & Bhima Properties Managing Director Shivakumar and Managing Partner of Tapovan Estates K. Sriram.  Entry is free and those interested are requested to be seated by 5 pm.
