Mysuru: The city’s Swaralaya Sangeetha Samsthe, in association with Kannada and Culture Department, Bengaluru, recently held Sri Purandaradasa and Thyagaraja Aradhana Mahotsava at Mahajana High School premises in Jayalakshmipuram here.

Former SBM Manager M.Y. Kumar was felicitated  and a Music (Junior grade) Question Bank book was released on the occasion.

The event also featured a musical concert by the Samsthe office-bearers, who were supported by Vidwan C. Chetan on violin  and Vidwan P. Shyam  on mridanga.

Samsthe President Vidushi Dr. Suma Harinath, Secretary H.S. Srikanthamani, members Roopa Narasimhan, Shubha Ganesh, Vibhuda Rajendra, Leelavathi and others were present.
