Swastha Mysuru: Day-long health camp on May 31

Mysore/Mysuru:  HH Sri Srikantadatta Narasimharaja Wadiyar Foundation President Pramoda Devi Wadiyar said that a day-long mega health check up camp has been organised at Uttaradi Mutt premises in city on May 31.

The mega health camp is organised under the joint aegis of Swastha Mysuru, Sri Uttaradi Mutt Roga Vimochana Sri Dhanvanthri Sannidhana, Mysuru, HH Sri Srikantadatta Narasimharaja Wadiyar Foundation and Arogya World India Trust, as part of 1008 Sri Satyatma Teertha Swamiji’s ‘Mysuru Digvijaya-2026’ yatra and Adhika Masa.

Addressing a press meet at Patrakarthara Bhavan here this morning, Pramoda Devi stressed on the need for maintaining physical and mental health and also physical fitness. Advising the people against ignoring health issues, she said that early diagnosis and timely treatment were keys for recovery from various ailments. She called upon the people, especially women and the elderly to make best use of this health camp.

As many as 150 experienced doctors from 19 hospitals, healthcare centres and polyclinics are taking part in this camp, in which more than 1,500 people are expected to undergo medical check-up, which chiefly includes blood test, heart check up, cancer screening, bone density test, dental check up, eye check up and pap smear test, among others. The camp will be conducted from 9 am to 1 pm.
