SWR earmarks Sleeper Class coaches as Unreserved Second Class for travel  between Mysuru and Bengaluru

In order to provide a comfortable travel experience to unreserved passengers undertaking short distance journeys, the South Western Railway (SWR) has earmarked some Sleeper Class coaches of trains as Unreserved Second Class over identified sections of Hubballi, Bengaluru and Mysuru divisions.

Accordingly, now passengers can buy unreserved journey tickets for commute in these earmarked sleeper class coaches in the notified section. Passengers travelling in other than prescribed coaches will have to pay the difference of fare between the two classes and penalty charges. The details of trains with earmarked unreserved coaches is as follows:

  1. Four Sleeper class coaches from S-6 to S-9 of Train. No. 16591 Hubballi-Mysuru Hampi Express have been declared as unreserved between Hubballi and Hosapete and two Sleeper class coaches from S-8 to S-9 of this train have been declared as unreserved between Bengaluru and Mysuru.

Further, four Sleeper class coaches from S-6 to S-9 of Train. No. 16592, Mysuru-Hubballi Hampi Express have been declared as unreserved between Hosapete and Hubballi.

  1. Four Sleeper class coaches from S-4 to S-7 of Train No. 17308, Bagalkot-Mysuru Basava Express have been declared as unreserved between Bagalkot and Solapur.  Three Sleeper class coaches from S-5 to S-7 of Train No. 17307, Mysuru-Bagalkot Basava Express have been declared as unreserved for travel between Mysuru and Bengaluru.
  2. Four Sleeper class coaches from S-6 to S-9 of Train. No.16535, Mysuru-Solapur Golgumbaz Express have been declared as unreserved between Bagalkot and Solapur; and also between Mysuru and Bengaluru.
  3. Two Sleeper class coaches from S-5 to S-6 of Train No. 17226, Hubballi-Vijayawada Amaravati Express have been declared as unreserved for travel between Hubballi and Hosapete.

      5. Four Sleeper class coaches from S-7 to S-10 of Train No.16589, Krantivira Sangolli Rayanna Bengaluru-Kolhapur             Rani Chennamma Express have been declared as unreserved between Belagavi and Kolhapur, according to a pres                release from Chief Public Relations Officer, SWR, Hubballi.
