Urging the Government to resolve the long-pending legitimate demands of Railway employees, about 100 members of South Western Railway Mazdoor Union (SWRMU), Mysuru Division, responding to the call of All India Railwaymen Federation, New Delhi and SWRMU, Hubballi staged a demonstration in front of Divisional Railway Manager’s office near City Railway Station here this morning.

The charter of demands include withdrawal of Railway Board order debarring supervisory staff and above becoming Railway Union office-bearers;     Upgradation of Group C staff; Revision of Supervisor’s grade; Redressal of anomalies in 7th Central Pay Commission and Scrapping of National Pension Scheme.

The demonstration was led by SWRMU (Hubballi) Divisional President P. Shivaprakash, Working President S. Somashekar, Secretary S.N. Mohammed and Treasurer S. Sripathi.
