Syed Muneer (65), Secretary of Mysore City (Dist.) Congress Committee and a resident of Sunni Chowk in Mandi Mohalla, passed away yesterday morning at a private hospital following brief illness.
He leaves behind his wife, five sons, six daughters, grand children and a host of relatives and friends.
Namaz-e-Janaza was held yesterday after Namaz-e-Asar at Dargahi Masjid on Sawday Road followed by the burial at the Muslim Burial Grounds near Tipu Circle.
