Syed Ubaid Ulla (54), son of late Syed Ismail and a resident of the city, passed away in the wee hours of today at his residence following brief illness.

He leaves behind his wife, a daughter and a host of relatives and friends.

Namaz-e-Janaza was held this afternoon followed by the burial in Chamarajanagar, according to sources.
