T.N. Shamanna (83), retired teacher and a resident of Vidyaranyapuram here, passed away at his residence yesterday.

A native of Talakad in T. Narasipur taluk, he leaves behind his wife, three sons, a daughter, son-in-law, grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.

Last rites were performed yesterday at the foot of Chamundi Hill, according to family sources.
