T.P. Mallappa (71), a retired Head Master and a resident of Talur village, Jayapura hobli in the taluk, passed away yesterday night following a heart attack.
He leaves behind his wife, one son, one daughter and a host of relatives and friends.
Last rites were performed at his native place this afternoon.
