T.S. Gowramma (99), a resident of Saraswathipuram in city, passed away last evening due to heart attack.
Gowramma had served as a teacher at Government Schools in Nanjangud, Saligrama and Mysuru.
She served as Head Mistress at NTM School, Mysuru.
She was also a Guide Trainer in Bharat Scouts & Guides and had taken part in Jamborees all over the country.
She was also the recipient of Governor’s Award as Guide Trainer.
The nonagenarian leaves behind a son, daughter-in-law, grandson, his wife, great grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends, according to family sources.
