T.S. Puttaswamy (83), a resident of Talur in the taluk, passed away at a private hospital here yesterday morning.

He leaves behind his wife, two sons, a daughter and a host of relatives and friends.

Puttaswamy had served as the Vice-President of APMC, Doora Gram Panchayat Member and Director of Kadakola Union Bank.

Last rites were performed at Talur this afternoon, according to family sources.
