With LS polls round-the-corner, Deputy Commissioner Abhiram G. Sankar, who is also the Electoral Officer, has asked Bank officials to keep a tab on all withdrawals exceeding Rs.1 lakh on a single day. Also, the Bank officers are instructed to bring all cash withdrawals from a single account, exceeding Rs.10 lakh per day, to the notice of IT Department.
