‘Devara Kanasu’ chosen for Cannes International Film Festival

Bengaluru:  Kannada film Devara Kanasu, Directed by Suresh Lakkoor, has been selected for screening at France’s Cannes International Film Festival. It is the only Kannada film to be selected for this year’s festival scheduled between  July 7 and 14.  The movie, involving two children, deals with contemporary social issues that haunt rural areas in Karnataka….
