‘Take action on illegal activities in hotels, resorts and other places’

Human Rights Commission asks Police to form special team and submit report

Mysuru: The Human Rights Commission (HRC) of the State has issued an order to the Police to take action on hotels, lodges, resorts, home-stays, massage centres, which have constructed illegal hidden chambers and tunnels to indulge in illegal activities such as prostitution. The HRC has asked the DG&IGP to form a team comprising senior Police officials in every district and submit a report to them in six-week time.
