Hunsur: KAS grade officer H.R. Ramesh took charge as Hunsur City Municipal Council (CMC) Commissioner on Monday. The post was lying vacant since January 2019 after the then Commissioner Shivappa Nayaka was suspended on charges of irregularities.
Following Shivappa Nayaka’s suspension, CMC Assistant Engineer (AE) Manjunath held concurrent charge as CMC Commissioner. Now, Ramesh, who was serving at Madikeri CMC has been appointed as Hunsur CMC Commissioner, following which he took charge on Dec.7.
