Dr. Sanket Patil to speak on ‘Alemarigalu, Arasaru, Vartakaru’

Mysore/Mysuru: Mysore Open Forum has organised a talk by Dr. Sanket Patil on his book titled ‘Alemarigalu, Arasaru, Vartakaru,’ which is a translation into Kannada of the book in English ‘Wanderers, Kings, Merchants’ by Peggy Mohan, on Sunday (Nov. 23) at Kalpa Kshetra Auditorium, 581/1, Vijayanagar 4th Stage, 1st Phase, Mysuru, at 10.30 am.

Dr. Sanket Patil, a technologist, writer and translator, has a deep interest in language and arts. He runs “Konaru,” a newsletter featuring literary and cultural essays in both Kannada and English.

Professionally, Dr. Sanket holds a Ph.D degree from IIIT Bangalore with a research background in Distributed Systems, Data Science and Natural Language Processing (NLP).

 Having been part of the founding team of a tech company, he currently drives strategic initiatives related to Data and AI. Hailing from the village of Betageri in Belagavi district, he currently lives and works in Bengaluru
