Mysuru: GSSS Institute of Engineering and Technology for Women (GSSSIETW), Mysuru, had organised a talk on “Making Democracy Work” by Dr. R. Balasubramaniam, Founder, SVYM, at its Govindarao Memorial Hall recently. Dr. Balasubramaniam highlighted the objectives of Making Democracy Work so as to increase the percentage of voting, creating public awareness on the principles of democracy, importance of conducting  elections, public participation in the election process, transparency, good governance and the responsibility of the electorate to elect deserving candidates and also motivated every citizen to VOTE in the upcoming elections.

Later he interacted with the students and had a healthy discussion on voting awareness.
