Mysuru: Mysore Open Forum has organised a talk on ‘Special Intensive Revision (SIR) Process’ by Na. Diwakar, Writer and Columnist, tomorrow (Aug. 2) at 10.30 am at its Kalpa Kshetra Auditorium, 581/1, Vijayanagar 4th Stage, 1st Phase, Mysuru.
Na. Diwakar is an ex-Banker having served in Canara Bank for 35 years. Highly influenced by Marxist and Leftist ideology, he has been a contributor to various Newspapers and Magazines.
He has been involved in Dalit Movements and a participant in PUCL activities. He has written over 3,000 articles and over 200 poems and authored 45 books. A significant number of his translations have been published and is also an active participant in CPI-ML activities.
He believes that the ongoing SIR process is an anti-Constitution method designed to keep out a large number of people from the democratic process. He feels that Dalits, Tribals and disadvantaged sections of society will be unfairly affected.
Diwakar is the recipient of many Awards and Recognitions for his substantial literary outputs and other efforts. The talk is open to all. For details contact MoF on Mob: 94498-19536.
