Mysuru: Mysore Open Forum (MOF) has organised a talk on ‘Understanding Artificial Intelligence: LLMs – Algorithms, Chat GPT, Open AI, Google Co-pilot, Gemini etc.’ by Sindhu Ramachandra, Experienced Biochemist and Data Scientist, at 10.30 am tomorrow (Aug. 10) at Kalpa Kshetra Auditorium, #581/1, Vijayanagar 4th Stage, 1st Phase, Mysuru. [Mob: 94498-19536]
Sindhu Ramachandra is a Post Graduate in Bio Chemistry from the University of Mysore. She was a Research Trainee at the Molecular Bio Physics unit and a Project Trainee, Materials Engineering Department at the Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru. She has been an Apprentice, Data Science at Learn Bay, Data Science Intern at Unified Mentor and Data Science Research Intern at Codio.
Her talk will include the following: Social media is flooded with AI generated images and videos. Thanks to tools like ChatGPT, mundane tasks like writing emails, reading documents, and even coding have become largely automated. While there are many concerns about AI’s impact, humans are also finding numerous ways to benefit from this technology. With both information and misinformation circulating about AI’s effect on human civilisation, it’s crucial to understand how AI works at a high level and what it can actually do. Let’s gather to discuss AI’s impact on our daily lives, explore what Large Language Models are, and learn how different LLMs such as ChatGPT, Gemini, and Claude etc. operate. The talk is open to all.
