Pranayama builds mental strength when it comes to concentration, memory and stress reduction. It brings serenity to our mental activity as it increases oxygen supply to the entire body. It promotes relaxation and mindfulness. Yoga and simple asanas are linked to improved cognitive action and better skills. Practice of Yogasanas is crucial to maintaining good health and well-being especially among senior citizens.
