Tanveer Sait seeks opening of COVID Care Centres at Hostels

Mysore/Mysuru: With NR Constituency becoming a COVID-19 hotspot, NR MLA Tanveer Sait has written to Deputy Commissioner Abhiram G. Sankar  seeking establishment of COVID Care Centres (CCC) at VTU, Teresian College and Kendriya Vidyalaya Hostel buildings.

In his letter dated July 26, Sait said that as the Constituency is expected to witness more number of COVID-19 cases in the coming days, the District Administration can set  up the CCCs at VTU, Kendriya Vidyalaya and Teresian Hostel buildings, which come under NR Assembly segment. The MLA also sought setting up of Fever Clinics at all Primary Health Centres (PHCs) and appointment of Doctors, Nurses and other medical shops at the CCCs. 

He also wanted the authorities to classify all Private Hospitals in the district as COVID and non-COVID Hospitals and inform the public about the same.
