Mysuru:  ‘Shivasanchara Natakotsava,’ a three-day theatre fest organised by Taralabalu Samagama, in association with Kadamba Ranga Vedike, will be held at Hosmutt premises on Shankar Mutt Road in city from Apr.24 to 26.

Announcing this at a press meet here yesterday, the fest convenor M.G. Sadanandaiah said that Rangayana Director Bhagirathi Bai Kadam will inaugurate the fest at 6 pm on Apr.24 in the divine presence of Hosmutt Seer Sri Chidananda Swamiji.

National School of Drama (NSD) Bengaluru Centre Director C. Basavalingaiah will preside.

A play titled ‘Ooru Suttaru Hanumappa Horage,’ scripted by Hanumantha Halageri and directed by Malatesh Badiger will be performed at 6.30 pm on Apr.24.

Play ‘Gurumathe Akka Nagalambike,’ scripted by Panditaradhya Shivacharya Swamiji and directed by C. Basavalingaiah at 6.30 pm on Apr.25 and ‘Narabali’ play scripted by J.H. Narayanaswamy and directed by Savitha Prasanna will be performed at 6.30 pm on Apr.26, he said and added that entry is free.

Taralabalu Samagama President N. Omkarappa and President Rajashekhar Kadamba were present at the press meet.
