Mysuru: Pandit’s The Orchids School, The Orchids Public School and The Orchids Integrated PU College, Mysuru, celebrated the 18th Annual Day here recently.

Noted cine artiste and Environmentalist Suresh Heblikar, who was the chief guest, spoke about the responsibility of each individual in protecting our culture, tradition and environment in the present day technologically driven world.

Col. Rakesh Menon, Group Commander, NCC Group Head Quarters, Mysuru, who was the guest of honour, lauded the school’s efforts to promote NCC and eventually better citizens for the country and the planet.

With the theme ‘Tattva,’ students presented a cultural extravaganza and showcased the five elements of nature. The acts focused on the triumph of Good over the Evil.

The students also presented ‘Tulunaada Vaibhava’ and ‘Athulya Bharath’. Chairman of The Orchids Educational Institutions Ullas Pandit, CEO Yashoda Pandit, Principal of The Orchids Public School Dr. S. Dayaprasad, Vice-Principal of Pandit’s, The Orchids Integrated PU College Devraj and School Administrator B.J. Asha witnessed the events of the Orchidians.
